Wasing Park Wedding Photography – Amanda & Phil

Spring Wedding at Wasing Park

Amanda and Phil got married at Wasing Park in Spring 2019.  Phil first met me when he was best man at Kate & Mark’s Hyde House Wedding two years ago. It was an honour when Amanda and Phil asked if I could be their Wasing Park wedding photographer. Kate & Mark also introduced me to their their beautiful baby daughter, Grace and it was great to catch up with them.

A Wasing Park Wedding

Wasing Park is a beautiful private specialist wedding venue surrounded by 18th Century Berkshire parkland. It is the perfect setting for a wedding celebration at any time of the year, although I found the Spring blossom particularly special. It’s a gorgeous venue, and I’ve been lucky to be the Wasing Park Wedding Photographer at a number of weddings there.

Bridal Preparations

Amanda and her bridesmaids chose to get ready at an Air bnb near to Wasing Park.  Air bnb is a great choice for bridal preparations to really start your day in a special and unique way.  After I had photographed the bridal preparations, I joined Phil and the groomsmen in the Estate Rooms at Wasing Park.  This also allowed me to capture the wedding cars arriving down the sweeping driveway towards Wasing Park.

Wedding Ceremony

The Wedding Ceremony took place in the Garden Room.  The Garden room is a light and airy space set amidst a private, walled garden, its extensive bi-fold doors creating an impression of a space without walls and allowed the Spring sunlight to flow into the room.

Portraits and Canapés

After the wedding ceremony, the wedding guests enjoyed canapés prepared by the ever-talented Galloping Gourmet team.  Amanda, Phil and I dodged the light rain showers to capture portraits in the numerous idyllic outdoor spaces offered by Wasing Park.  My favourite location was definitely the Secret Walled Garden, I thought that this was an amazing setting for the perfect outdoor wedding.

Wedding Breakfast

The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Castle Barn. The grand arches and crenelated stone walls created the perfect ambience for the meal. The Castle Barn was also a really impressive setting for the speeches before being transformed for the evening party. Its really important to me to cover the whole day and night and I include this in all my packages as standard. Everyone loved the party and I only left once everyone was truly danced out!

I hope you like the images. Check out my blog of Stephanie & James’ Ashridge House Wedding to see another Spring wedding.
