Hedsor House Wedding Photography – Robyn & Thomas

November 9, 2017

In May, I was lucky to be asked to photograph Robyn and Thomas’ wedding at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire.

Getting Ready

I found Hedsor House to be such a dreamy venue, and the stunning Georgian house was the perfect location for Robyn and Thomas’ intimate luxury wedding.

I started the day with Robyn and her bridesmaids in the luxurious bridal suite which must be the ultimate getting ready space which Robyn accentuated with beautiful copper balloons.

The Ceremony

Robyn and Thomas got married at St John’s Church in Little Marlow.

The church is a ten minute drive from Hedsor and is a lovely option for a more religious service.  I met with the vicar ahead of the wedding and we agreed the best options for photography during the ceremony. As such I was able to capture some very meaningful images as Robyn and Thomas exchanged their vows.

Back to Hedsor House

After the ceremony, Robyn and Thomas headed back to their wedding reception at Hedsor House in their vintage Fiat 100 (linking to Thomas’ Italian heritage!).

During the reception, the wedding guests enjoyed the canapés, homemade limoncello and pimped prosecco to continue the Italian theme.

Robyn and Thomas spent some time away from the party together  and I captured some relaxed newlywed portraits.

While the wedding guests relaxed and enjoyed the grounds an accordion player provided some European-style entertainment.

Robyn really wanted to incorporate balloons into the wedding including a group shot before the wedding breakfast.

Sunset and the party

After the speeches, Robyn and Thomas headed back outside with me to capture the sunset and then danced the night away in Hedsor’s glamorous ballroom

I hope you like the images. Check out my full wedding of Lawrence and Georgie to see another Spring wedding.

Hedsor is amazing. I haven’t been in years. This one looks like a great party. Some fantastic candid moments and elegant portraiture. Great stuff!
