Sunbeam Studios Wedding
In February I photographed my first wedding of 2018 at Sunbeam Studios in west London.
Sunbeam studios is a photographic, film & event studio. The Grade ll listed building was once home to the Sunbeam Talbot Motor Company and was actually the first purpose-built car factory in Britain. These days it is used as a stunning venue for weddings. The space is elegant and flexible to allow the wedding to truly reflect the personalities of the couple.
Hannah and Stephen assembled some very talented wedding suppliers to create a very stylish winter wedding.
I started the day with Hannah and her bridesmaids to capture the bridal party preparations. My good friend Damion Mower joined me for the day and covered the Groom’s preparations. The bridal party were relaxed and there was plenty of time to capture Hannah in her stunning Sally Eagle dress. We knew there would be rain on the day so I also made sure to capture the unique bridal headdress before it was suitably covered by an umbrella!
I left the bridal party to their last minute preparations and headed over to Sunbeam Studios to capture the arrival of the bridal party and to see how Stephen was getting on with his pre-wedding nerves. I needn’t have worried – I have since learned that Stephen managed a considerable boxing workout that morning with his groomsmen – so he was in great spirits!
Hannah and Stephen chose to have a civil wedding ceremony at Sunbeam Studios. Jonathan, the Sunbeam Studios wedding coordinator ensured that the ceremony ran smoothly.
Guest showered Hannah and Stephen with confetti as they walked back down the aisle. This is such a great idea for a Winter wedding.
While guests mingled over champagne and the oyster bar they listed to live music from the fabulous The Hares. Hannah and Stephen took a few moments to catch up on their wedding while we took some relaxed couples portraits on the steps of Sunbeam studios.
Wedding Breakfast and Party
The wedding party entered the Main Hall for the wedding breakfast followed by speeches under the imposing logo of the old Sunbeam factory.
The first dance took place to Sam Cooke, what a wonderful world. The stunning spotlights lit the main hall and set the scene for a fabulous evening of dancing led by The Wedding Smashers.
I hope you like the images. I would love to hear from you if you are planning a Sunbeam Studios wedding. If you would like to see some more London Wedding inspiration, take a look at my Tower of London Wedding blog.
