Gorse Hill Wedding Photography

I photographed Grace and Mike’s wedding at Gorse Hill in November 2018. Gorse Hill is a quintessentially English Edwardian Manor House situated in the Surrey country-side. This was my first visit to Gorse Hill since the Mansion House was refurbished in 2017. I loved the warm colour schemes of the mansion which complemented the classic styling of the wedding.

I began the day with Grace and the bridal party at Gorse Hill.  Grace worse a classic wedding dress which was complemented by the most amazing Victoria Beckham red shoes.  Luckily she also had some amazing sparkly converse to allow her lead the partying later in the day…

Grace and Mike were married in front of paned bay windows overlooking the manicured gardens.  After a moving ceremony we moved to the bar for the drinks reception.  As the grand mansion is an exclusive hire venue we had the grounds to ourselves, so while the wedding guests enjoyed the canapés we made the most of the gardens for some autumnal portraits. Grace and Mike had told me that they booked me because I stay for the party and I wasn’t disappointed.  The newlyweds and wedding guests lit up the venue and partied hard. The night ended with sparklers and an impromptu speech from the groom which I am so pleased I was there to capture.
