Megan and Will’s winter wedding at Ufton Court was just lush.
I started the day with Megan and the bridal party at a barn they hired close to Ufton Court. The atmosphere was celebratory and relaxed which allowed me to spend some taking getting some usual and more arty shots as well as my usual reportage style.
Megan had five bridesmaids and a flower girl so there was plenty of activity. I am not usually a celeb spotter but I did have to let my wife (a huge Archers fan) know that Pip was a bridesmaid (if you don’t listen, believe me that is cool!). Megan left plenty of time in the itinerary to allow me to capture her beautiful Maggie Sottero Miela bridal gown before we left for Ufton Court.
I then left the Bridal party to catch the guests arriving at Ufton Court and take some photographs of Will and the groomsmen.
Megan and Will had a large wedding party so chose the 16th century Tithe Barn at Ufton Court for their wedding ceremony. The dramatic oak beams entwined with fairy lights and Ivy created a stunning backdrop for the wedding ceremony.
As often happens at winter weddings, the weather was not completely kind. Luckily Megan had arranged for champagne and canapés to be taken in the Tudor manor house. The wedding guests enjoyed the beautiful work of The Wild Fork against the backdrop of the large roaring fire.
Megan, Will and I found a good gap in the weather to capture some relaxed portraits in the beautiful sunken garden by the manor house.
After the wedding breakfast Megan and Will exited the archers hall through a sparkler tunnel. The guests then sparkled up at the glitter bar and then danced (and twerked!) the night away to the amazing One Night Band.
