I loved following the progress of Kate and Mark's wedding planning on Instagram. Bec and I spent a lot of time swooning over the wedding details that kept appearing on their feed: the hand dried petal confetti; the 1,000 paper cranes that she made by hand; the beautiful calligraphy on the place settings. THEN close to the day Mark added a vintage Morgan and I was in absolute heaven! Hyde House is a gorgeous wedding venue, sadly the weather didn't allow us to have the ceremony outside but luckily the venue is a pretty inside as out and Kate's amazing decoration skills, able assisted by the House of Bunting created a pretty magical setting. Hyde House is such a versatile location for a wedding and for wedding photography, if you are planning a wedding in the Cotswolds I would definitely add this to your viewing list - it is just so light an airy - an absolute dream for the couple (and, the wedding photographer)! There is so much lovely wedding inspiration here (Kate and Mark have amazing taste) so see the links at the end for some truly amazing wedding suppliers....
Do contact me if you would like to talk about your wedding photography at Hyde House.
I am a recommended photographer at Ufton Court and I am lucky to shoot weddings at Ufton Court throughout the year. Beth and Adam's Spring wedding was such a pretty and relaxed day and it was a great idea to use the Mansion House for the intimate ceremony. Their style, combined with the lovely Spring sunshine (and the amazing work of other recommended suppliers) is the perfect way for me to show how beautiful a Spring Ufton Court Wedding can be.
Beth and Adam chose to book a half day photography package (which I offer on some weekdays) as they knew they didn't want me to cover their getting ready or stay too late, so this doesn't represent full coverage but is just so pretty I wanted to share. Look out for the table plan appearing on bottles hanging from the Tithe Barns beams and the amazing changing colour light canopy from Oakwood Events.
Do get in touch if you would like to chat about your Ufton Court wedding photography or find out more about my half day coverage options!
A little over a month ago the Christmas trees went up, carols were sung and Helen & Matt got married!
I first met Helen at a wedding fair last year and following a long coffee and chat with Helen and Matt in their local cafe in West Hampstead they booked me to photograph their wedding in the natural reportage style highlighting the emotions of the day that I love. We enjoyed a sunny engagement shoot on Hampstead Heath over the summer where we got to know each other better and started the planning process for the photography for their wedding. As for any December wedding, you must expect weather (and we got it!). Luckily, we had agreed some great contingency options for the photography and we all had an amazing day and I hope you will agree this was a very beautiful wedding - thanks for having me guys.
Thanks also to Damion, for second-shooting and generally for being awesome all day.
Missing Autumn already? Then take a look at Hannah and Alex's beautiful October wedding. I was so excited when I arrived at Nonsuch Mansion for such a perfectly put together family wedding (including a special appearance by Dudley, their ever so cute pug) which saw Nonsuch Mansion at its very best on a perfectly sunny and cold Autumn day.
There were subtle reminders of Autumn everywhere (you will notice the orange and purple colour palette and beautiful details) but also some really relaxed guests and great moments - I hope you enjoy!
To introduce you to this blog, I could tell you about how Amanda and Paul didn't want an engagement shoot (which freaked me out) so we went drinking instead to get to know each other. I could tell you that Paul's family are Greek so this wedding had some of the best dancing I have seen for many years, including the traditional money dance. I could wax lyrical about Northbrook Park, Amanda's stunning Pronovias dress and her classy Manolos. Or I could just get on with it and share some of my favourite images of the day...
